Hi again,
Sorry about the meltdown yesterday. Today I am glad to be alive and glad to be of service as one of the millions of people sewing face masks to combat the horrendous pandemic which has killed and sickened so many people and ruined… well, everything about this spring (except spring itself). I am also glad to find a brand-new white cotton sheet right here in my house!!! I’ve never been so happy to find a sheet. (If that makes no sense, see yesterday’s post.)
Sometimes it’s good to be forgetful; you give yourself surprises.
Now I will shut up and sign off, but not before sharing this quote I just rediscovered in my wallet: “I cannot believe that the purpose of life is to be happy. It is, above all, to matter, to count, to stand for something, to have made some difference that you lived at all.” –Leo Rosten
hang in there,
until tomorrow
P.S. here is the photo of yesterday’s face mask production. Thanks for your patience, people!
